Construction Management

A construction manager can have various duties to the owner, the general contractor and the architect. Thus, construction  managers can be caught between an owner’s desire to get a project built and the daily on-site decisions which affect the builders’ work. Understanding the construction manager’s obligations to each party — and the limits of those obligations under a construction contract — can be a challenge requiring the advice of a seasoned lawyer. Our knowledge in this area, coupled with our experience prosecuting claims from all perspectives of a project, allows us to counsel clients in both real estate and construction transactions and disputes involving construction management issues.
